EcoBuild were contracted by Engenera Renewables Group, a regular client, to install a solar PV system at Rocket Medical PLC’s Customer Services depot in Washington, Tyne & Wear.
The system comprises of 426 Trina Solar 460Wp PV modules mounted either side of a pitched roof & also mounted on 2no, flat roofs and connected to 3 Solis 120kW inverters amd 1no. Solis 80kW
A K2 systems SolidRail mounting system was fixed to a trapezoidal metal profiled roof covering. This design allowed walkways between the solar PV arrays to allow easy access for maintenance.
With dedicated G99 PV rely panel board, the PV system will generate around 370,000kWh/annum and save approximately 174tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
Work began on the project in April 2023 & took 6 weeks to complete, test, commission & handover to the client.
